School teachers in our area have days where they can design their own training program.
As part of these days, our club sometimes works with the physics teacher to deepen students' theoretical skills in electricity, the propagation of electromagnetic waves and radio.
For example, our members calculate with students components such as reels and then build them with them. Also, they perform measurements for a better understanding of physical laws. Finally, they plan and realize a simple circuit of radio receiver, and other electronic circuits.
Visiting the Payerne air base, including the apprenticeship workshops, the military aviation museum "Clin d'Ailes" and our radio station gives students the opportunity to discover ancient and modern technologies and professional career and, last but not least, an exciting hobby.
Needless to mention, our practical teaching is very popular with students.
